420 TMG/TMP Single Phase Cast Resin Voltage Transformers
Introduction
Our 420 range of single phase voltage transformers with single or double fuse arrangements has been designed for those customers who prefer single phase configurations rather than our 3 phase monobloc casting. For switchgear applications in instrument control, metering and protection. Available with single or double secondary windings for AC measurement of voltages between phase to ground or phase to phase with system voltages up to 15KV.
Standards
Our units are designed to meet the requirements of BS EN 60044-2, BS7625, ANSI-C57, CAN-C13 and AS1675 standards and/or customers specific requirements.
All our units are ROHS compliant.
Construction
Cast polyurethane resin block complete with core and coils mounted onto a stainless steel base plate. Comparative Tracking Index (CTI) of our polyurethane resin in volts >600 thus giving an assigned Performance Level Category (PLC) of 0.
Our units are also available cast in epoxy resin if required.
Cores are constructed from grain oriented silicon steel. Windings are in high grade copper wire double coated with polyester. The units are fitted with brass M8 HV terminals and M6 brass LV terminals. HV fuses are secured and mounted by 25mm spring clips. Dimensions as per diagram.
