Since its inception Transmag has been engaged in the design and supply of standard and special resin cast/oil voltage transformers at system voltages up to and including 33kV. Along with our current transformers and specialised coil winding facilities Transmag product range is built and supplied to comply fully with the relevant national and international standards with performance verified by 100% testing before leaving our works.

Transmag is committed to providing a high quality of service to ensure complete customer satisfaction at every stage of its operations from the initial enquiry through quotation, design, manufacture, testing, delivery and after sales support. Activities within the company are controlled by a quality management system meeting the requirements of ISO9001:20015. The company’s quality policy and objectives are the responsibility of the directors. A Quality Team has been appointed to ensure that the system functions as intended by review and internal audit of the processes. The Quality Team reports directly to the Managing Director and the whole system is subject to regular management review by the directors. This review also includes and records progress towards meeting the company’s quality objectives.

The company seeks to ensure that all employees have appropriate skills and competence for their jobs by way of professional qualifications, education, and relevant experience. Transmag actively pursues a policy of enhancing job skills by appropriate training and education. Workplace health and safety is an important issue for the company and is actively managed to ensure full compliance with current and future legislation.

Transmag ensures that all of its employees are familiar with its policies and objectives through ongoing communication, training, and education programmes.

The Board of Directors is committed to a policy of continuous improvement across the company’s activities and to this end welcomes inputs from all sources and especially its customers and employees.

Transmag is fully committed to minimise the impact of its activities on the environment and has developed an environmental policy to help manage its efforts in this direction.

Quality Objectives

  1. To do our utmost at all times to ensure complete customer satisfaction in all our dealings with them.
  2. To manufacture the most efficient designs in terms of performance, unit cost, test standards and criteria, ease of
    installation and commissioning, and achieve this at a competitive cost.
  3. To manufacture equipment to recognised international standards.
  4. At all times to manufacture and operate in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

Customer Satisfaction

The basic measurement of satisfaction could be the right product at the right price delivered at the right time to the right quality with the right service and support. Transmag will monitor and measure customer feedback from our Technical Field Manager’s reports. Through our management review meetings and management strategy meetings, Transmag will discuss and review strategy to collect all information from our existing systems which can be used to measure customers perceptions of Transmag.
